MLM: Making the Commitment

To succeed at anything you need commitment. You need to decide that there are certain actions that must be taken to reach your goals and you will take those actions. In traditional businesses commitment includes everything from showing up to work everyday on time to completing your assigned tasks to the best of your abilities. When you are working with a MLM, commitment is absolutely imperative if you hope to have any success. Once you select a MLM and learn the requirements and compensation structure you can write you goals and commit yourself to attaining them all.
Meet the Customers
Once you have found a product and MLM that you are excited about, it is time to sell the product. While there are a few dream products that sell themselves and will have customers looking for you, for the most part you will have to find the customers. Make your first goal setting up opportunities to meet customers, not necessarily make sales. If you meet enough customers you will make sales. If your MLM is based on home parties, make a commitment to schedule a certain number of parties each week. However many parties you need each week, whether it’s two or four, do it consistently each week. If your MLM is based on recruiting new people, make a commitment to meet new people each day. One successful MLM manager believes you should target thirty new people a day, six hundred a month. The great majority will not join but if you recruit five percent, that is thirty people. The key is being consistent everyday.
Make the Call
Just as important as meeting potential customers is calling them. You want to create a list of potential customers that you can call for sales or to recruit. You can build this list in several ways. First, collect names and numbers at the MLM parties you sponsor or the events you attend. You want your list to be warm leads, meaning people who know you and have expressed some interest. Because of telemarketing restrictions and fines, you do not want to cold call people out of the phone book. Stick with those people you have met and referrals from others. Once you have a list of warm leads, commit to making calls each day. Whether you decide on ten or twenty calls each day do it consistently, and you should see a response.
Commit to Excellence
Once you have a customer, do your best to keep them. There is an old business theory that says it is easier to keep an existing customer than gain a new one. Give excellent customer service in delivering the correct merchandise on time and in good condition. Even if you have ambitions to move higher in the Cyberwize opportunity, always remember to serve the customer well, without them there is no business. If you make and define your goals and commit to consistently take the required actions to meet them, you will create your own success.

MLM is a great industry. But the problem is, many people fail. The reason that they fail is because they don’t know how to MARKET. This is key. The only way to do mlm these days, is on the internet. The days of pestering your friends and family about your business are over. If you are considering an mlm, make sure you join someone that has a proven track record of lead generation and marketing knowledge. I failed miserably until I learned how to market.
